Alie is a real multi-tasker. After working as a clinical neurophysiology lab technician for several years, she was ready for a new challenge. She wanted to do something with her long-cherished passion for biology and sustainability and therefore she chose to study environmental sciences at the Open University alongside her full-time job. During her master's research at Bioclear earth, she looked into the application of effect-measurements in soil research for, for example, drug residues. Because we were impressed by her performance during her internship, we asked her to become part of our team. She is now working on soil and water projects focused on new contaminants. Alie is good at mastering new topics, is able to quickly gain relevant knowledge and communicate this effectively. She is highly appreciated by her colleagues for her intelligence, her friendly nature and her enormous dedication.
In her spare time, she spends a lot of time working in her vegetable garden and processing the harvest in the kitchen. She also loves motorcycling and walking in nature.
