Many faces of climate adaptation: Bilateral partnerships working in future-proof farming in Egypt

Although there is a strong need for a boost of agricultural production in Egypt, harsh weather conditions put farming at risk. Adaptation can help farmers to become more resilient. Satellite information can be useful to improve water management at farm level or to detect diseases at an early stage. A healthy soil will reduce stress of the crops. Mechanisation and improved storage technology will lead to a better quality and access to markets. Combining various innovative technologies will make farming more appealing to young entrepreneurs, but also robust and future-proof.
